Foundation Programme
A holistic programme with a focus on enhancing language and communication, social-emotional skills, functional academics, independence and creative success.
Programme Overview
Our Foundation Programme offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to enhance language, communication, social, and emotional skills, literacy, and numeracy.
Students receive the time and support they need to thrive, encouraging active engagement with their environment to foster psychological self-construction. The programme also supports students with a natural talent for visual and performing arts, offering enriching opportunities for creative exploration and excellence. By integrating these elements, we aim to promote each student’s growth, confidence, and success with personalised attention tailored to their academic and creative needs.
Integrating fine motor skills and art allows students to develop the strength and coordination needed for everyday tasks such as buttoning clothing and unzipping bags. Visual communication is also a key component of our learning approach. We work closely with parents, therapists, and specialist staff to create a programme that builds on each student’s strengths, ensuring it meets their needs and facilitates seamless integration into the school community.
